Erosion intensified despite receding Jamuna’s water level
In Sirajganj, erosion has intensified in the riverbank areas as the water level of the Jamuna River continues to recede. In the last 24 hours, around 50 houses in six villages in Shahjadpur upazila have been reportedly washed away in the Jamuna River.
