Eid festivals fade away amid cries of survival
Thousands of hundreds of people in Sylhet are struggling to return to normal life due to the terrible floods. Rural towns are still submerged in water. Although the water level has been decreasing, the water is rising again due to fresh downpours, creating new panic among the flood-affected people. In such a situation, the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha is a complete exception for the people of Sylhet. The mood of the festival has faded amidst the cries of survival. The victims do not think that the water will decrease before Eid.

18 cattle markets to be set up in Dhaka
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the authorities have decided to set up 18 temporary cattle markets in Dhaka North (DNCC) and South City (DSCC) Corporation. Of these, seven will be in DNCC and 10 will be set up in DSCC.
