But suddenly today Saif Sporting Club announced that they will no longer manage the football club. Saif Sporting Club is mainly run with the funding of Saif Powertech Group.

Telling about their withdrawal from the football arena, Tarafder Md. Ruhul Amin said “Due to the current global situation, it is not possible for us to conduct football activities. For this reason, we are removing ourselves from all kinds of football activities.”

He also said, “I am not associated with Saif Sporting Club in that way. Saif Power’s Board of Directors meeting decided not to stay in football.”

Ruhul Amin said, “The reason for leaving football is returns are not coming in the way that the amount of expenditure is against it. National football is not affected in that way. Besides this, the group is also busy with commercial activities. Team management requires a lot of time. It is becoming difficult to give time on behalf of the group.”
