Keshav Maharaj took seven wickets to bowl Bangladesh out for 53 in the second innings, their second-lowest total, in the first Test of the two-match series at Kingsmead, Durban.

Bangladesh's late-evening collapse last night continued to the morning, and Maharaj continued to run rampant with Harmer's support. Only two bowlers, both spinners were used for all of 19 overs to take all the ten wickets.

Bangladesh needed 263 runs on the fifth and final day of the Durban Test with 7 wickets in hand. But they did not stand before the South African spinner duo.

Najmul Hossain Shanto 26 was the top scorer for Bangladesh. Taskin Ahmed (14) is the other batter who cross double-digit.

For South Africa, Keshav Maharaj took 7/32 while Simon Harmer bagged 3/21.

South Africa scored 367 runs in the first innings. In reply, Bangladesh all out for 298. South Africa all out for 204 runs in the second innings.

The second and final Test of the series will start on April 7 in Port Elizabeth.
