Al-Amin rules out of BPL 2022

The eighth edition of Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is underway. Sylhet Sunrisers fast bowler Al-Amin Hossain will miss the rest of the BPL due to injury. Sylhet has included all-rounder Alauddin Babu in the team as Al-Amin's replacement.

Sylhet Sunrisers reported on Wednesday afternoon that the 32-year-old right-arm pacer had been diagnosed with a grade two fracture on one of his fingers which forced him to out of the tournament. He has to be out of the field for at least 4 weeks. In this situation, Al-Amin has no chance to play in BPL.

Al-Amin suffered the injury while playing in the recently concluded Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL). Even though he was thought to be fit for BPL but still he is recovering from the injury.

Alauddin Babu has been included as a replacement for Al-Amin. The 30-year-old right-arm pacer had a hat-trick in the latest edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL). No one has included him in the players' draft of the eighth edition of the BPL. This time he got a chance to prove his worth thanks to Sylhet Sunrisers.
