Bangladesh lost by an innings and 117 runs against New Zealand in the second Test at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Tuesday.
The hosts New Zealand drew the two-match series 1-1 with this win. Ross Taylor, who was playing his last Test match, took the final wicket of Bangladesh's second innings.
Following on from their first innings score of 126, Bangladesh were rolled over for 278 in the second innings.
Liton Das scored 102 off 114 deliveries - his innings featuring 14 fours and a six, before being adjudged lbw against Kyle Jamieson. Liton's effort was the lone success for Bangladesh, who saw a number of batsmen get starts but not converting those starts into something substantial.
Skipper Mominul Haque scored the second-highest 37 while Nurul Hasan scored 36 runs.
Kyle Jamieson and Neil Wagner shared seven wickets in the Bangladesh second innings.
Initially, Tom Latham scored 252 runs and Devon Conway smashed 109 runs in the first of New Zealand's batting. New Zealand had posted a first innings score of 521 for 6 declared.
