Bangladesh lost their three top-order batters inside 15 runs as Shahin Afridi took back-to-back wickets of opener Shadman Islam (1) and Najmul Hossain Shanto (0). Hasan Ali took the wicket of Bangladesh skipper to reduce them to 15/3.

Till this report, Bangladesh were 25/3. Saif Hassan 19 and Mushfiqur Rahim 6 were in the batting.

Earlier, Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam came up with brilliant bowling in the docile pitch as Bangladesh hit back in style to all-out Pakistan for 286 at Tea on day three of the opening Test at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium today. Taijul ended 7 for 116 in 44.4 overs.

Taijul struck in the first over of the day, dismissing Abdullah Shafique and Azhar Ali via a review in consecutive deliveries and dashed Pakistan's plan to unleash aggressive cricket in a bid to bury the hosts under huge runs. Shafique couldn't add any run to his overnight total of 52.

Abid, who started the day on 93, flicked Taijul past square leg for a couple to reach his fourth Test century off 209 balls.

Skipper Babar Azam appeared to be in control before offspinner Mehidy Hasan's (1-56) quicker delivery rattled his stump for 10.

Taijul used his flight and variation well to not only take the wickets but also curb the aggression of Pakistan batters.

He reaped the rewards again when he spun one sharply to take the edge of Fawad Alam for 8, which the umpire somehow missed, only the decision be overturned on review. The replay showed the ball brushed Alam's glove.

Ebadot was particularly impressive with his pace and accuracy, often hitting 145k mark. He removed Mohammad Rizwan (5) to give fifth breakthrough to Bangladesh.

Taijul Islam took the most desired wicket of Pakistan opener Abid Ali (133) to give sixth wicket to Bangladesh. Taijul struck again to remove Hasan Ali and to complete his fifer.

Pacer Ebadat Hossain bowled Sajid Khan for 5 to bring eight breakthroughs for Bangladesh. It was a length ball just outside off but angling into off stump. Sajid thought it would angle in more, but it doesn't. Past the outside edge, and the stumps are rattled Drinks 240/8.

Taijul sends off Nauman Ali (8) to grab his 6th wickets in the innings. Fahim Ashraf and Shahin Afridi added 29 runs for the last wicket stand before the former dismissed to Taijul Islam scoring 38 off 80.

For Bangladesh, Taijul was the best bowler with 7/116 while Ebadot Hossain bagged 2/47 and Miraz took 1/68.
