Bangladesh won the first medal on the 5th day of the ‘Teer 22nd Asian Archery Championship’ under the management of the Bangladesh Archery Federation and the patronage of City Group – which is the first medal for Bangladesh in Asian archery.

Bangladesh’s Diya Siddique, Nasrin Akhter and Beauty Roy won the bronze by defeating the Vietnamese players 5-3 in the recurve women’s team event at the Bangladesh Army Stadium in the capital Dhaka on Wednesday morning.

After winning the first medal, Diya said they had confidence and trust among them. “We are very happy to win the first bronze medal in an event like the Asian Championship,” she also said.
