New Zealand gives 135 runs target to Pakistan

New Zealand has scored 134 runs after losing 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and gave a target of 135 runs to Pakistan in the Super 12 round of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE on Tuesday.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam has won the toss and decided to field. Batting first, Black Caps openers Martin Guptill and Daryl Mitchell gave a good opening partnership with 36 runs.
The New Zealand batsmen have been losing wickets at regular intervals since Guptill was dismissed for 17. Mitchell and Devon Conway scored the highest 27 runs for the team. Besides, Kane Williamson made 25 runs.
In the end, no one from New Zealand could play big innings. Haris Rauf took 4 wickets for Pakistan alone. Besides, Shaheen Afridi, Imad Wasim and Mohammad Hafeez took one wicket each.
