Nasir misses triple century

Nasir Hossain, who is famous in Bangladesh national cricket team as a finisher, missed triple century in the National Cricket League (NCL).
Nasir, Batsman of Rangpur Division had been batting with 270 runs against Barisal Division on Saturday morning at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. He was walking on the path to become the second Bangladeshi to hit triple century in first class cricket. But he was bowled out by Lincon Dey Sanjay. He lost only the first triple century in just five runs.
He completed his double century by 351 balls and dismissed in 295 runs by playing an aesthetic innings.
In the first class cricket, Nasir set the record for the second highest innings among Bangladeshi batsmen. Rakibul Hasan is the only Bangladeshi batsman who has a triple century. He scored 313 runs in the 2006-07 season. Marshall Ayub is the third and Mosaddek Hossain fourth places respectively with 288 and 282 runs. Shamsur Rahman, who scored a career-best 267, is the fifth place.
