Truck hits pedestrians in San Francisco, injuring 7

Seven people were reportedly injured following a truck crash
At least seven people were injured when a truck crashed into another car and two pedestrians at 21st Avenue and Geary Boulevard Street of San Francisco in USA, on Monday.
According to ABC’s local affiliate in the area, the San Francisco Police Department stated that the truck ran a red light crossing at the 21st Ave and Geary Street and missed the control of the vehicle, hitting two pedestrians, a stationed car, and an additional car with a family of five.
The San Francisco Fire Department said that two of the injured were elderly people, one suffered in life-threatening injuries and another one had some serious injuries. The five people had minor injuries and were rushed to the trauma center.
Police arrested the truck driver. A red alert was commenced in the surrounding area.
Police spokeswoman Grace Gatpandan told Mercury News that there was no indication that the incident was a terrorist attack, and the truck driver did not appear to be intoxicated or on drugs.
