Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said BNP’s howl is just a flaunt. It’s just a trick to keep the activists motivated. These are nothing but sly attempts to cover their failures.

“Awami League will soon be seen on the streets. If the Awami League activists take to the field, BNP will not find the streets, not even the alleys. BNP wants to turn the country into a failed state through planned non-politics. But the people will not allow it,” he said.

Obaidul Quader said these during a press briefing at his official residence in the capital on Friday morning.

Awami League General Secretary said that the roads are not the ancestral property of anyone, the roads are the wealth of the people, so if chaos is created in the name of occupying the roads like in the past, then the people will be given a befitting reply.

He said BNP wants to loot the country by wanting to form a government. They want to block the immense potential of the country by building another Hawa Bhaban. But people will never give them that chance again. “As the most failed opposition party in the history of this country, BNP wants to turn the country into a failed state,” Obaidul Quader also said.

Advising to forget that the caretaker government is a solvable issue, the Awami League General Secretary said there is no more opportunity for a caretaker government to come in this country. It is good for BNP to prepare for the upcoming national elections.

Resignation of the government, dissolution of the parliament – these are the daydreams that are no use to BNP, he added.
