Chawkbazar polythene factory fire under control

The fire that broke out at a polythene factory in Old Dhaka’s Chawkbazar area was brought under control. Ten units of the fire service worked for Two and a half hours to control the fire.
Anwarul Islam Dolan, an officer of the headquarters of the Fire Service and Civil Defense Department, informed the media that The fire originated at around 12 pm at Debidwar Ghat in the Kamalbagh area.
An eyewitness said that the cylinder exploded in the hotel on the ground floor of the building. It spreads on the right side and further goes up. The polythene factory caught fire from there.
According to the control room of the fire service headquarters, the fire was brought under control. However, there was no immediate information about the cause of the fire and casualties. Details will be given later.
