3 dead in Turag rickshaw garage explosion

Three of the eight people who were burnt in a chemical explosion at rickshaw garage and a repair shop in the Rajbari (Kamarpara) area of Turag yesterday morning, died at a hospital early today.

Deceased are rickshaw garage owner Gazi Mazharul Islam (40), rickshaw puller Nur Hossain (55) and rickshaw mechanic Alamgir (23).

Dhaka Madical College (DMH) Hospital Police Camp in-charge Mohammad Bachchu Mia said that they breathed their last in between 12:00am to 2:00am while being treated at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

Besides, Five other injured are Md. Mizan, Md. Alam Mia, Md. Machum, Md. Al-Amin, Md. Shaheen and Shafiqul Islam. They are undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
