Swechchhasebak League president Nirmal Ranjan Guha
Bangladesh Awami Swechchhasebak League president Nirmal Ranjan Guha passed away on Wednesday morning. He was 58.
He breathed his last at 10:30 am while undergoing treatment at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital in Singapore.
Confirming the information, joint general secretary of the Swechchhasebak League Mobasher Chowdhury said I talked to his family members."
He is survived by wife, two sons, and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers.
Earlier June 12, he was taken to Bangladesh Specialised Hospital in the capital after he became seriously ill. Later, he was given life support there. He was flown to Singapore on June 16 for better treatment.
On November 25, 2019, Nirmal Ranjan Guha was elected president of Awami Swechchhasebak League.
