Bangladesh Bank fire under control
A fire that broke out on the fourth floor of Bangladesh Bank headquarters in the capital has been brought under control at 6.50pm. Earlier, the fire broke out at around 6.30pm.
Four units of Fire Service and Civil Defense men douse the blaze, said Shahjahan Sikder, officer-in-charge of the fire service (media).
Being informed Motijheel fire service unit started work immediately to douse the blaze. Later, 3 more units from Siddique Bazar Fire Station joined. The fire was brought under control at 6.50 pm.
