Dhaka-Sylhet rail communication has resumed as flood waters receded from the railway station

The rail communication between Sylhet and Dhaka was restored around 12:55pm today, Sylhet Railway Station Manager Nurul Islam said on Sunday morning.

Earlier, the Sylhet railway station was declared closed at 12:30 pm on Saturday due to flood waters. Meanwhile, the flood waters of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) have started receding from midnight.
