Temperature may fall, rain likely

Day temperature may fall by 1-3 degrees Celsius and night temperature may fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius over the country, according to a weather forecast which will be valid for the next 24 hours commencing from 9:00 am on Friday.
The Met Office also forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur in different parts of the country during the period.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions and at many places over Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country," the release said.
Trough of low extended from Bihar to West Bengal persists. Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
Country's highest temperature on Thursday was recorded by 36.0 degrees Celsius at Chauadanga and minimum temperature today was recorded by 23.0 degrees Celsius jointly at Netrokona and Sitakunda.
The highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours was recorded at 109 millimeters (mm) at Rangpur.
Today's sunset at Dhaka at 6:48 pm and tomorrow's sunrise will be at 5:11 am.
