Padma Bridge is a symbol of Sheikh Hasina’s honesty, commented Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today.

“Padma Bridge is a symbol of Sheikh Hasina’s courage, pride and honesty. The World Bank withdrew without financing the Padma Bridge, accusing it of theft. The construction of Padma Bridge is revenge for that insult,” he said.

He added that visitors may be able to travel on foot. There will be a deadline for this. Thoughts are going on about that.
