Actions to be taken if negligence found in Sitakunda blast: HM

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today said if there is any evidence of negligence in the Sitakunda blast, action will be taken against them “no matter how strong they are”.

He made the remarks after visiting Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) at around 2:45 pm on Monday to see the burnt patients.

Home Minister minister said no one will be exempted if there is negligence or liability. No matter how strong they are, none are above the law.

Earlier, he visited BM Container Depot at Sonaichhari union in Sitakunda around 2 pm. He spoke to Army, Navy and Fire Service officials about the incident.
