Bangladesh donates Tk 20cr medical aid to Sri Lanka

Bangladesh has sent emergency medicine to Sri Lanka. Medical aid worth Tk 20 crore will be sent to the country, said Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen.
He said while speaking at the handing over of emergency medicine to Sri Lanka on behalf of Bangladesh at the state guest house the Padma in Dhaka on Thursday afternoon.
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen was present as the chief guest and Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque was present as the special guest.
President of Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Industry Association Nazmul Ahsan Papon and High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Dhaka Professor Sudharshan Seneviratne were also present.
Foreign Secretary (Senior Secretary) Masud bin Momen, Foreign Ministry (Former Secretary) Mashfi bint Shams, senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare were present on the occasion.
