Hatirjheel turns into city of joy

The last two Eid was uncolored due to the Corona pandemic. However, this time Eid-ul-Fitr has returned to its normal trend as there is no Covid-19 restriction this time around. At the end of Eid prayers, it is as if everyone is talking about happiness and joy.

The various entertainment centers of the capital become flamboyant with the presence of city dwellers. At the end of Eid prayers, some people have gone out to walk in the park and some people have gone out to visit any place of their choice. 

Meanwhile, it was seen on the spot on Tuesday afternoon that Hatirjheel has turned into a piece of colorful canvas following the footsteps of hundreds of people. Numerous people have come to enjoy Eid with family and friends. However, the joy and excitement of the children have been seen more than the joy of the adults. The whole Hatirjheel has turned into a joyous city due to the running and rush of children and teenagers.

Different peddlers have been seen to sell various delicious food including fuska-chatpati. At the end of the day, many people are sitting in these shops and eating the food of their choice.

Md. Sadman Saif (11) came from South Shahjadpur to visit Hatirjheel with his parents. Saif was flying a gas balloon bought by his father like a kite.

Saif's father Saidur Rahman was watching the kite flying scene with satisfied eyes. He said, it is very good to see the joy of the boy. Eid joy is actually for the little ones, we are happy to see their joy.

Rahim Uddin came to Hatirjheel with his family from Mirpur in the capital. He said he was in a bad mood when it started raining in the morning. "I thought that I have to spend Eid day sitting lazily at home but in the afternoon the weather becomes normal and the sun also rises. As the sun rises in the afternoon, I come to visit Hatirjheel.

Meanwhile, many people have been seen traveling around with private cars and motorcycles. Many people are enjoying Eid by roaming through water taxis in Hatirjheel.

Talking to the visitors, it is learned that the festivities will continue till the end of the Eid holidays in various entertainment centers of the capital.
