Day temp likely fall by 2-3°C, night temp by 1-2°C

Day temperature may fall by (2-3)°C and night temperature may fall by (1-2) °C over the country in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9 am.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted this in a weather bulletin issued on Tuesday.

The country’s Met Office forecasts that rain or thundershowers with intense lightning flashes and temporary gusty or squally wind are likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur division with hails at isolated places. 

Besides, the rain or thundershowers activity is likely to reduce, forecasted Met Office’s outlook for the next 72 hours.

Meanwhile, BMD deputy director Meteorologist Md. Bazlur Rashid said in the weather bulletin that a trough of westerly low has lied over West Bengal and adjoining area. As a result, seasonal low has lied over South Bay. 

The country’s maximum temperature was recorded at 36.3°C yesterday at Teknaf in the Chattogram division while today’s minimum temperature was recorded at 20.0°C at Rajshahi and Badalgachhi upazila.

Today’s sunset will be at 6:27 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 5:23 am.
