PM greets countrymen on Eid

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today greeted countrymen as well as the Muslims across the world on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest religious festival of Muslims.

In a message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that Eid teaches a unique lesson of peace, compassion, and brotherhood. Forgetting violence, hatred, and violence, people are bound by the bonds of equality, friendship, and harmony. Eid brings a message of happiness to the lives of rich and poor alike. The joy of Eid is for all of us.

She said that may the self-purification, restraint, friendship, and harmony of Muslims prevail in the life of individuals, family, society, and state- this should be the fervent desire of Eid festival. May the life of every human being be filled to the brim with laughter and joy of Eid. May the happiness, peace, welfare, and prosperity of all the people of the world continue today. 

The Prime Minister said, "Although the situation in Corona has improved somewhat, I would request that we avoid mass gatherings as much as possible and will enjoy Eid with our families in accordance with hygiene rules and pray to Allah so that we all get rid of this infection as soon as possible."

On this auspicious day of Eid-ul-Fitr, Prime Minister prayed to the Almighty Allah that our Motherland Bangladesh and the Muslim Ummah continued progress, prosperity, and lasting peace.
