73 lakh people left Dhaka in four days: Jabbar

Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar said 73 lakh people had left Dhaka on April 27, 28, 29, and 30 to share Eid-ul-Fitr's joys with family members. This number has been confirmed through mobile SIMs.
He gave this information in a post on Facebook on Sunday afternoon.
Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar wrote in a Facebook post that 43 lakh 9 thousand mobile SIM users left Dhaka on April 29 and 30. In the previous two days, approximately 30 lakh SIM users have gone out of Dhaka. The information was obtained from mobile operators.
In a Facebook post, the Posts and Telecommunications Minister gave a detailed account of the two days. He said that 19 lakh 32 thousand 990 people left Dhaka on April 29 and 23 lakh 76 thousand 226 people left Dhaka on April 30.
Note that Thursday (April 28) was the last working day for government employees before Eid. Because the government employees are getting 6 consecutive days leave this time including weekly leave, May Day and Eid holidays.
Depending on the moon sighting, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the country on May 2 or 3. If Ramadan ends on 29 days, Eid will be on 2 May, and if 30 days are completed, Eid will be observed on 3 May.
