About 50,000 train advance tickets have been sold out in the first hour after tickets sale starts at 8pm.
It was said in a circular signed by Farhat Ahmed, Public Relations Manager of Shohoz, a ticketing company, on Saturday afternoon.
According to Shohoz, this is the first time in the history of railway ticketing that customers are successfully buying Eid tickets. Its whole achievement is of Shohoz. Shohoz managed about 5 lakh hits or traffic online per minute on the first day of buying and selling Eid tickets. At the same time, Shohoz's ticketing system is running successfully at counters in 77 stations across the country.
According to Shohoz, the ticket sale for April 27 started today from 8 am. More than 50,000 tickets were sold in the first hour of the sale. Passengers are able to successfully buy tickets from the official website of Bangladesh Railway.
According to Shohoz, for the first time in railway ticketing, Shohoz has used throttling technology to ensure online queue management. As a result, on the one hand, millions of hits or website traffic has been managed periodically, on the other hand, the security of the website has been ensured.
It is easy for ordinary people to buy train tickets in comfort and reach home safely and share the joy of Eid with their loved ones and this is the main goal of Bangladesh Railway. Proper use of modern technology has led to groundbreaking success in railway ticketing.
