E-passport activities closed for 4hrs

Bangladesh Department of Immigration and Passports has temporarily suspended e-passport activities from Friday evening for quality improvement.
It was learned on Friday that the passport service will be disrupted from 7 pm to 11 pm to improve the quality of the e-passport service.
At this time, applicants will not be able to apply for a passport online. Appointment activities will also be closed.
The department sincerely apologizes to the applicants for the temporary closure of service activities due to unavoidable circumstances.
Earlier, the department’s server was down from March 15 to March 22 due to “system upgradation”.
