43rd BCS preliminary result published

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission today published the preliminary result of 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination. A total of, 15,229 have passed it.
A reliable source in PSC confirmed this information to Daily Bangladesh on Thursday.
According to the sources, BPSC chairman called an emergency meeting at 3.30 pm on Thursday and the results were released at the end of the meeting. Students will be able to know details of the result on BPSC website.
The 43rd BCS Preliminary Examination was held on October 29 last year. The test was conducted in Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh simultaneously.
During the application for the 43rd BCS, the PSC increased it by several points. 4 lakh 35 thousand 190 applications were submitted.
Due to non-completion of final examinations in different universities, the deadline was extended three times. A total of, 4,35,190 candidates apply in different cadres.
A total of, 1,814 officers in different cadres will be appointed through this BCS. Of these, 300 will be appointed in administration cadre, 100 in police cadre, 25 in foreign cadre, 843 in education cadre, 35 in audit, 22 in information, 19 in tax, 14 in customs and 19 in cooperatives.
