Dry weather likely; cold wave may abate

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted that weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today. 

Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country during midnight to morning, said a Met Office bulletin issued this morning.

Meanwhile, a mild cold wave is sweeping over Dinajpur, Panchagarh, Kurigram, Chuadanga and Moulvibazar districts and it may abate at some places, said the bulletin. 

Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added.

Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 29.2 degrees Celsius at Teknaf and minimum temperature today was 8.7 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 5:35 pm today and rises at 6:45 am tomorrow in the capital.
