Cold wave sweeping over 2 dists, may continue and spread

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted that a mild cold wave is sweeping over two districts, it may continue and spread in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today. 

"Mild cold wave is sweeping over Panchagarh and Kurigram districts, it may continue and spread over the remaining part of Rangpur division and some parts of Rajshahi and Khulna divisions," said a Met Office release issued this morning. 

The weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, the BMD said, adding that light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight to morning. 

Meanwhile, night temperature may fall by 1-2 degrees Celcius over the country and day temperature may rise by 1-2 degrees Celcius over the country, the release said. 

The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded by 29.0 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in the Chattogram division and minimum temperature today was recorded by 08.9  degrees Celsius at Tetulia in the Rangpur division. 

Today's sunset at Dhaka at 05:33 pm and Tomorrow's sunrise at 06:44 am.
