Light rain or drizzle likely over country including Dhaka

Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9 am, forecasted Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a weather bulletin issued on Friday.
According to the BMD’s weather forecast, signed by deputy director Meteorologist Kh. Hafizur Rahman, the weather may remain “mainly dry with partly cloudy to the cloudy sky” elsewhere over the country.
Besides, moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and adjoining areas and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from midnight to morning, said Meteorologist Kh. Hafizur Rahman.
“Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may fall by (1-2)°C over the country,” the weather bulletin added.
The country’s Met Office, BMD, also forecasted that the rainfall activity “may decrease” and night temperature may fall in the next 72 hours or within three days.
The country’s maximum temperature was recorded at 31.3°C yesterday at the Chattogram district while today’s minimum temperature was recorded at 9.0°C at Tetulia in the Rangpur division.
Today’s sunset will be at 5:32 pm and Tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 6:44 am.
