With the country witnessing a sharp rise in Covid-19 cases, authorities concerned have imposed 11-point restrictions on carrying passengers in buses, trains and launches. Which will come into effect from January 13.

The Cabinet Division issued the ban in a gazette notification on Monday.

The notification state that, everyone must wear a face mask when going out. Mobile courts will be set up across the country to ensure health rules. Show vaccination certificate to take food at a restaurant and stay in a residential hotel has made mandatory.

The notification further said that concerned authority will announce exact instructions and the date of implementation.

Everyone will have to follow this 11-point instruction from January 13 until further notice.

The Omicron variant has been detected at the beginning of the new year. Over the last few days, the daily corona infection in the country has suddenly started increasing. In this context, the issue of imposing new restrictions comes to the fore again.

However, Health Minister Zahid Maleque told reporters at the Secretariat on January 3 that although coronavirus infection in the country has continued to rise, yet the situation to declare lockdown has not come.
