Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said that although SSC and equivalent examinations are scheduled to start from February 1 every year and HSC and equivalent examinations from April 1, these examinations will not be held on time. There are plans to take SSC-HSC exams in the middle of the year. However, the educational institutions are not being closed now. Classes will be held on limited scales.
She came up with the declaration in response to a question from reporters at a press conference at the Secretariat on Monday.
The education minister said this year's SSC and HSC examinations will not be held on time. SSC and HSC examinations will be in a short syllabus. How many subjects will be tested, the decision will be made after considering the situation. Maybe in the middle of the year, we will be able to take the exam. It is not possible to give a date right now. We will continue to observe. If there is a situation like taking test, there will be an exam. Maybe two or three months ago we can tell the date of the test. If the situation is not favorable, the date will be deferred.
It is to be noted that due to corona infection, the result of HSC 2020 was announced on the basis of the results of the JSC and SSC exams, and last year's SSC and HSC examinations were held in a shorter syllabus.
