Massive fire at Green Road RS Tower

A massive fire broke out at RS Tower in the capital’s Green Road. Four units of fire service are working to control the fire.
“The fire broke out at 10:30 am on Friday,” confirmed Rashed bin Khalid, duty officer of the fire service control room.
“The fire service received a report of a fire at RS Tower in the capital’s Green Road at 10:30 am on Friday. Upon receiving the news, 4 units of the fire service immediately went to the spot and started working to control the fire,” Rashed bin Khalid said.
Rashed bin Khalid added that the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not immediately known. Besides, we have not received any news of casualties so far.
Earlier, a fire broke out on the 11th-floor of Rahat Tower at Bangla Motor at around 11:04 am yesterday (Thursday).
Majidul Islam, a firefighter at the control room of the fire service and civil defense headquarters, confirmed the matter.
Majidul Islam said the fire service got the news of the fire at Rahat Tower in Bangla Motor at 11:04 on Thursday.
He added that the fire was doused. However, fire service personnel are working to control the smoke coming out of the building.
Majidul Islam said the cause of the fire was not initially known. However, no casualties have been reported so far.
No casualties were reported as workers in an office in the building rushed out of the blaze. There were two television offices with several pharmacies on different floors of the tower.
