Proposal for ban on students entering school without getting 2 dose vaccine

The Cabinet Division has proposed to ban students above the age of 12 from entering the school without receiving two doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
The proposal of the cabinet has already been sent to the Ministry of Education, Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam told reporters after the meeting on Thursday.
The meeting approved the drafts of 4 out of 6 proposals. Apart from one proposal, three proposals have been notified to the concerned department.
Regarding other proposals, the cabinet secretary said that the presence of people in social and political events should be limited to curb the spread of coronavirus infection. Proposal for ban students, who have not received the two doses of vaccine, has been approved.
He added that a decision on public transport would be made if the coronavirus infection increased further. However, BRTA will be instructed not to increase fares on public transport.
Khandaker Anwarul Islam said that in order to enter trade fairs, book fairs, restaurants and shopping malls, one has to take two doses of coronavirus vaccine. In addition, two doses of the vaccine are mandatory for train and air travel.
