Bangla Motor’s Rahat Tower fire under control

The fire, that broke out in the multi-storey building at Bangla Motor in the capital on Thursday, has been brought under control.
Seven units of the fire service extinguished the blaze after an hour of frantic effort.
Majidul Islam, a firefighter at the control room of the fire service and civil defense headquarters, confirmed the matter.
Earlier, the fire broke out on the 11th floor of Bangla Motor's Rahat Tower at 11:04 am. On information, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
Majidul Islam said that the fire is now under control. However, fire service personnel are working to control the smoke coming out from the building.
The cause of the fire could not be known yet. However, no casualties have been reported so far. Further details will be revealed later, the fire fighter added.
