Night temperature may rise slightly

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Thursday predicted that night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall slightly over the country. 

The Met Office also forecasted dry weather over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 a today. 

"Weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur at many places over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue till noon at some places," said a Met Office release issued this morning.  

As an outlook for the next 72 hours, the BMD predicted: "Night temperature may rise further." 

Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded by 30.0 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in the Chattogram division and minimum temperature today was recorded by 10.3 degrees Celsius at Badalgachhi in the Rajshahi division. 

The sun sets at 5:26 pm today and rises at 6:43 am tomorrow in the capital.
