Night temperature likely to rise slightly

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted that night temperature is likely to rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. 

The Met Office also forecasted that weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.

Light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during the morning, it added in a  release issued this morning.

As an outlook for next 72 hours, the BMD predicted: "A low pressure area is likely to form over South Andaman Sea and adjoining area."  

Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 32.2 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in the Chattogram division and minimum temperature today was 11.8 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in the Sylhet division.
