55 arrested in anti-drug drive

Dhaka Metropolitan Police has detained 55 people for selling and serving drugs during anti-narcotics drive in the capital.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested them for selling drugs and serving drugs from Wednesday morning to Thursday morning.
DMP’s Media and Public Relations Department has confirmed the information.
During the drive, DMP has recovered 8,094 pieces of Yaba, 90 grams of heroin, 300 grams of weed, 5 bottles of phensedyl, and 40 drug injections from them.
37 cases have been filed against the detainees under the Drug Control Act.
