2 children to stay with Japanese mother till Feb 6

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Sunday directed that two children, Nakano Jasmine Malika and Nakano Laila Lina, will stay with their mother - Japanese national Eriko Nakano - until February 6.
The apex court said in the order, their father Bangladesh-born US citizen Imran Sharif can visit his daughters at any time from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm every day during this period.
The five-member bench of the apex court, by senior Justice Md Nuruzzaman passed the order. The Appellate Division fixed February 6 for pronouncing the next order in the case.
Senior lawyer Barrister Ajmalul Hossain QC and Advocate Ahsanul Karim appeared for the Japanese mother in court. They were assisted by Advocate Mohammad Shishir Monir.
Meanwhile, senior lawyer Fida M Kamal and advocate Fawzia Karim stood for Imran Sharif. Barrister Maruful Islam assisted them.
Earlier on January 3, the Supreme Court directed that two children will stay with their mother until January 23 following a petition filed by Eriko challenging a High Court verdict on this issue and seeking the children to her custody.
