The five-member bench of the apex court,  by senior Justice Md Nuruzzaman passed the order. The Appellate Division fixed February 6 for pronouncing the next order in the case.

Senior lawyer Barrister Ajmalul Hossain QC and Advocate Ahsanul Karim appeared for the Japanese mother in court. They were assisted by Advocate Mohammad Shishir Monir.

Meanwhile, senior lawyer Fida M Kamal and advocate Fawzia Karim stood for Imran Sharif. Barrister Maruful Islam assisted them.
