Saudi Arabia, Middle Eastern countries celebrating Eid-ul-Azha

Citizens of Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries, including expatriate Bangladeshis, are celebrating Eid-ul-Azha today, Saturday (July 9).

Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest festival of Muslims, was celebrated in a colorful manner on the tenth day of Dhul Hijjah, the last month of the Hijri calendar.

King Salman of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have sent greetings and congratulatory messages to the leaders of Muslim countries on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. 

They wished a happy return to the Muslim Ummah. Apart from this, they also wished the Muslim nation further progress, prosperity, lasting security and stability.  

Today, Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated in Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the leaders of the United Arab Emirates extended their best wishes to the people of the UAE, Arab and Islamic countries.  

The UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan has sent congratulatory messages to the kings, presidents and emirs of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
