A suicide bomber has struck Miranshah in Pakistan’s North Waziristan district. Three members of the army and three children were killed, confirmed Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR said in a statement that intelligence agencies were investigating the incident of suicide bombing.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's new Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the attack and expressed his condolences. During this time, he paid special tribute to the fallen soldiers. Shahbaz also expressed his condolences to the families of the children who died in the incident.
The Prime Minister said the killers of innocent children are “enemies of both Islam and humanity”. We will not sit still until this barbarism is eradicated.
He also vowed to punish those who aided and abetted the attack.
Shahbaz said the blood of the army and civilians is a debt to us – which we will repay by eradicating terrorism from our country.
