Joe Biden warns Russia over chemical weapon usage in Ukraine
United States President Joe Biden has warned Russia that they will have to pay a 'high price' if they use chemical weapons in Ukraine.
At the same time, he vowed not to involve the US in the war in Ukraine, saying that a 'World War III' could break out if Moscow was attacked.
At an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on Friday, Russia formally accused the United States of conducting research into germs and chemical weapons in Ukraine. The emergency meeting was held at the invitation of Russia. The meeting was held by Russia'r initiative. Western nations, including the United States, have said denying the allegations that, Russia is trying to prepare a field to apply chemical weapons in Ukraine by saying all these.'
Biden said in a statement after the UN Security Council session that Russia would have to pay a high price for using chemical weapons. This time he imposed another round of sanctions against Russia. As a result, he has almost ended America's normal trade relations with Russia.
European countries, along with the United States, are providing billions of dollars in arms to Kiev, though they are not directly getting involved in the war in Ukraine for the fear of a probable 'World War III'.
These weapons include warplanes and anti-tank missiles. In addition, the West is co-operating Ukraine with intelligence. In particular, Western countries are informing Ukraine of the location of Russian troops through satellite imagery.
