Seperate meeting and phone conversations have been placed between Bennett-Putin and Zelensky-Biden to discuss over Ukraine issue.

Eastern European country Ukraine has been hit hard by the Russian military's all-out campaign. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has sought security and financial assistance from US President Joe Biden. -BBC.

In a report on Sunday, the BBC reported that the Ukrainian president wanted help in a phone call with US President on Saturday. On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett held a three-hour meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Moscow to resolve the crisis. Zelensky later had a phone conversation with Bennett.

Volodymyr Zelensky himself said in a Twitter message on Saturday that he had a phone conversation with President Joe Biden.  

'As part of the ongoing dialogue, I have spoken again with the President of the United States,' he said. The agenda of the talks included security, financial assistance to Ukraine and the continuation of sanctions against Russia.

The White House has also confirmed the Biden-Zelensky phone conversation. They said the two leaders spoke on the phone for about 30 minutes on Saturday.

President Volodymyr Zelensky also spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett over telephone. He spoke to Bennett after a three-hour meeting between the Israeli prime minister and Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Russian capital, Moscow.

Al Jazeera says Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will visit Moscow on Saturday to try to resolve Russia's ongoing crisis in Ukraine. At the time, he had a three-hour meeting with Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin, the Russian president's official residence. A spokesman for the Israeli prime minister said that the two leaders discussed the war situation in Ukraine.

After the meeting, Naftali Bennett left for Germany. There will held a meeting between the Israeli Prime Minister and German Chancellor Olaf Schultz.

Meanwhile, Israel is one of the main allies of the United States. Despite this, Israel maintains good relations with Russia. Earlier, the Jewish state offered to mediate at the request of President Zelensky to end the Ukraine-Russia war.
