6 injured in clash over Free Fire game

Six people, including a woman, were injured in a clash between two families over a mobile game named free fire game at Madanpur of West Bengal in India.

The incident took place in a village of Bharatpur at Murshidabad in the country on Friday (January 22), sparking tensions in the area. Some of them injured have sharp weaponmade wounds on their bodies.

According to locals, several youths regularly gathers on the roof of a house in Madanpur village of Alugram panchayat in Bharatpur to play free fire game. They make hue and cry while playing the game.

Neighbors, annoyed by the regular shouts, asked the youths to play games quietly on Friday. But the youth did not listen to that. After that, a local youth first attacked the youths who had gathered to play the game. Six people, including a child and a woman, were injured in a counter attack. They have been admitted to the local hospital. Three of them have been shifted to Kandi Sub-Divisional Hospital due to deteriorating condition.

According to another local source, the incident took place between the family of Mir Piyar Ali of the village and the family of Chand Bibi. Two sons from two families were standing on the roof playing free fire games on their mobile phones. One was losing to the other. There begins the quarrel. After that the two families got into trouble. The locals also said that there was never a good relationship between the two families.

Mir Piyar alleged that Chand Bibi and her son Rahul first attacked their house. On the other hand, Chand Bibi alleged that Mir Piyar's family attacked and vandalized their house. She also alleged that he looted fifty thousand rupees.
