Israel sees 1st Omicron death

Israel has seen it's first death due to the new type of COVID virus, Omicron. Israel's state-owned news channel CTV reported the information on Tuesday.
The Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba informed that the man, 75, died on Monday, two weeks after he was admitted to the COVID ward.
The man was vaccinated with two doses of COVID vaccine. The Prime Minister of Israel is worried about the outbreak even after giving a booster dose of COVID.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett called a special session of the Israeli cabinet on Tuesday to decide what to do about COVID.
The meeting decided that half of the employees of the organizations will work online from home from now on.
