‘Faisha Gechi’ singer Hyder Husyn hospitalized

Hyder Husyn, a popular musician, lyricist and composer who was known for his famous song “Faisha Gechi”, has been hospitalized at a private hospital in Dhaka with diabetes-related complications, confirmed his wife Nusrat Jahan.  

She said Hyder Husyn has complications related to diabetes. He was admitted to a private hospital in the capital on Tuesday due to diabetes.

The singer’s wife further said that Hyder Husyn was admitted to the hospital on the advice of a doctor. “He has to stay here for two or three days. His diabetes control is now more normal than before,” she added.

Hyder Husyn started his career in the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) as an aviation engineer. He has been involved in music since 1979. He used to play playback guitar with famous composer Alam Khan and then worked with pop emperor Azam Khan.

He has become irregular in singing for the last few years.
