DU ‘Gha’ unit admission test begins

The ‘Gha’ unit admission test for the first-year admission for the 2021-22 academic session in the disciplines under the Social Science Faculty of Dhaka University (DU) has begun. The exam began at 11 am and will continue until 12:30 pm on Saturday (June 11). 

The admission test was being held in eight divisional cities including Dhaka on Friday (June 10).

The centers outside Dhaka were — Chattogram University, Rajshahi University, Khulna University, Bangladesh Agricultural University (Mymensingh), Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sylhet), Barishal University and Begum Rokeya University, (Rangpur). 

This year, a total of 78,029 students have applied for the admission test opposite of 336 seats in the ‘Gha’ unit. As per that, around 58 students are contesting for each seat.

During the admission test, DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Md. Akhtaruzzaman visited the examination center at Curzon Hall at 11:15 am.

The admission test to the 'Kha' unit under the Fine Arts faculty (General Knowledge) will take place on June 17.
