Orders to set up signboards in Bengali in madrasahs

The Directorate of Madrasah Education (DME) has directed to put up signboards in Bengali with names and addresses in visible places in the main building of Educational Institutions of Madrasah across the country. 

An office order signed by KM Ruhul Amin, the director-general of the directorate, has been issued in this regard. 

The order said that most of the madrasas in different parts of the country have no signboards bearing the names and addresses of the madrasahs erected in their main buildings. 

In addition, signboards with the name and address of the madrasa including directional signs are not placed on the side of the main road or in visible places. As a result, it becomes difficult to identify the exact location of the madrasa during inspection or for official purposes.
