All exams under National University postponed

All examinations at the National University (NU) have been postponed. This information was given in a notification sent from the NU on Friday.

It said that all the examinations of the National University (NU) have been postponed as per the government instructions till further directives. If the situation is normal, the schedule of these tests will be informed later.

Recently, five directives, including the closure of all educational institutions for two weeks to curb the spread of Covid-19, have been issued by the Cabinet Division. 

The directive was issued in a notification from the Cabinet Division on Friday morning.

The instructions are – 

From January 21 to February 8, all schools, colleges, and educational institutions of the same level will be closed; Universities will take similar measures in their respective fields.

No more than 100 people can attend social/political/religious/state functions. Those who will join in these cases must bring the vaccination certificate or PCR certificate within 24 hours. 

Officers or employees in government/private offices, factories need to get vaccine certificates. The concerned authorities will bear the responsibility in this regard. 

Appropriate hygiene rules including the use of masks in all types of public gatherings including markets, shopping malls, mosques, bus stands, launch docks, railway stations should be ensured.

Ministry of Education’s Information Officer MA Khair said we came to know such a decision from Cabinet. Whenever Cabinet Division is taken a decision, the Ministry of Education must implement it. We will be able to give details by talking to the Education Minister. If the Cabinet Division decides to close the educational institution from January 22, then the decision will implement naturally.
